Starting now, ERGO Versicherung AG and the InsurTech Finanzchef24 are offering commercial liability insurance for small trading companies. Thanks to this new product, in-store retailers and on-line traders can insure their commercial liabilities completely on-line. A digital underwriter automatically considers all relevant risk correlations.
On-line insurance cover for small Traders
ERGO and Finanzchef24 have joined forces to offer a digital commercial liability insurance policy to traders with an annual turnover of up to EUR 200,000. The digital underwriter automatically considers all relevant risk correlations. The client receives a binding offer customised to his requirements within a few minutes and which he can also conclude directly on-line. "We are increasingly using new methods to assess our clients' risks quickly and offer them exactly the cover they need. To achieve this we are systematically focussing on the opportunities provided by digitalisation" explains Dr Markus Hofmann, Chairman of the Management Board of ERGO Versicherung AG. The digital commercial liability insurance is now available at www.finanzchef24.de . "The product development was based on an analysis of our extensive user data and was therefore systematically aligned with clients' needs. In addition, our underwriting technology provides us with cost-effective processing from rating through to conclusion of the contract. Two important ingredients for a product which satisfies the demands of a digitalised world," explains Benjamin Papo, CEO and Managing Director of Finanzchef24.
